Finger Lakes Nutrition - Nutrition That Makes Sense
What is Nutrition Response TestingSM?

Nutrition Response Testing is a non-invasive system of analyzing the body to determine the underlying causes of ill or non-optimum health.

This clinically proven system may be quite different from any other healing practice that you may have experienced.

There will be some questions for you before and during the testing.  The first thing that must be determined is whether or not you are a "Nutrition Response Testing Case".  If someone is NOT a "Nutrition Response Testing Case" then it is unlikely that Nutrition Response Testing will ever help you.  However, if you ARE a "Nutrition Response Testing Case", then in our experience it is our belief that nothing else will help you as much.

The actual procedure is simple and direct, with the body providing all of the information and feedback needed.  The body responds to the procedure reliably and consistently.

The procedure is a quick and simple test of your body's neurological reflexes.  These reflexes are the body's way of telling us what and how your nervous system is doing.  It is the nervous system's responsibility to regulate the body's functions for each and every organ.  The testing includes organs, glands, joints, muscles, etc.  These reflexes are tested on the surface of the body.

Each reflex will be tested during a full body scan.  The scan involves the practitioner contacting your extended arm with one hand, and contacting the specific reflex area with the other hand.  If the tested reflex is stressed, your nervous system will respond by reducing energy to the  extended arm, which will weaken and cause it to drop.  A drop in the arm indicates underlying stress or dysfunction in that area which can be affecting your health.  Once the underlying stress is corrected, this weak muscle response will no longer occur.

Following your Initial Health Screening you will be given the results in a way that you can understand, with a specific nutritional program to follow.  Although every case is different, positive results may occur in as little as 4-6 weeks.  The more closely the recommended nutritional program is followed the better the results.  Old habits and routines that contributed to your current condition are difficult to change, but your body's condition may not improve as you hope without commitment to the program.  While you are on your individualized program your progress will continue to be monitored and your program adjusted as needed to assist you in attaining the maximum possible health benefits.

What Happens During Your Initial Health Screening Visit?

The Initial Health Screening is comprised of two visits for a total of about 3 hours of your time.

First Visit (about two hours of information gathering and testing):  Includes health history, measurement of height, weight, waist circumference, blood pressure, body fat %, and Body Mass Index.  The testing includes measurement of your fitness level and the Nutrition Response Test.

Second Visit (about one hour):  During this visit you are presented the Report of Findings which is an assessment of your health status.  This is where you will learn if you are/aren't a Nutrition Response Testing case.  If it is determined that you are a Nutrition Response Testing case you will be provided with a nutrition program designed specifically for you that will support your overall health and healing.  The recommended nutrition program may include whole food supplements from Standard Process or MediHerb.
